Shoes with comfort and safety in mind!
I bought these shoes for my 92 year old dad who is experiencing swelling of his feet. The shoes are adjustable both across the top with velcro and from the back so that in the mornings when the swelling is less, we adjust them in and later in the afternoon we can adjust them out to remain comfortable. ( I probably should just buy another pair and have one pair adjusted for morning and the other adjusted for afternoon, but they are easy to adjust). It would be fairly easy for most anyone to adjust the shoes themselves, but dad has severe arthritis in his hands, so he cannot adjust them, but he is able to put them on himself once they are adjusted. My dad is very difficult to please when it comes to his shoes, but he has loved these the minute he put them on. We purchased these before Christmas and they arrived promptly. Also, dad fell a couple of times prior to these shoes arriving because his old shoes were not skid resistant, but he hasn't slipped at all with these non-skid resistant soles. Dad feels safe in them and he says they are very comfortable and for him not to complain is a testimony to how good they really are. He wears them from the time he gets up in the morning until he goes to bed at night. I was not paid or given any special pricing for my review, it is an honest review.

Great for folks with edema
I bought these for my dad who was experiencing some severe edema due to heart failure, and could no longer fit into his regular shoes. He was very thankful for these and found that they were easy to get on, but he commented that they were a little heavy. Unfortunately, he didn't have much time left to use them much, but if he did, I think they would have been his go-to shoe given his condition.

They smell horrible!!
I recently ordered these for my father that has suffered with swollen feet for many years. Last month he had two strokes and as a result he has some mobility issues. Thought these would be perfect for him.However, when my father received them he couldn’t even take them out of the bag because of a horrible smell. I ordered him another pair, same thing, they stink. Sadly they will also be shipped back. Hope yours smell better!!

So easy to put on
My husband has kidney problems and swollen feet much of the time. These shoes have been so easy to put on. I open them and he puts his foot right in. Then the shoes are closed according to the amount of swelling that day. Would buy again.

Warm, accessible slippers for leg braces
Bought these after the break of a new hip joint. The material is warm and the flaps front and back at the heel make them easy to put on. They don’t slide on the floor because of the good soles. I wear my wool slippers to slide on floors; these would provide good grip for trips outside the house and the Velcro is strong enough to keep them in place.

A Blessing for My Feet
At first I believed they would be something I would wear only on my "bad foot" *days because in honesty they are not exactly attractive. One thing I've learned in my 72 years is that feet are very important to daily life. I have heart disease and type 2 diabetes, so foot comfort is hugely important to me. These have been my most everyday shoes. I have more pricey Dr Comfort shoes bit these are just so nice to me feet.

Very Adaptable
Hi: I have Lymphedema in both legs and have gone through quite a few really wide shoes to find some that were big enough (mostly in width) or adaptable enough. These shoes have a wide range of foot widths, and also a heal strap. Both are with velcro. These shoes fit THE BEST I have ever had, and are quite soft inside but with a good solid sole for outdoors.

Great slippers for edema
My husband has swelling in his feet and legs plus a partial foot amputation. We had a difficult time finding slippers to accommodate him. These have been a blessing. We can adjust them throughout the day as needed. Would recommend and would purchase again.

Not firm enough
Although this item should be soft for people with foot problems, the heel is too soft and collapses under my heel and the shoes fall off. Needs a bit stronger design in the heel area.
