Great for Trulicity
I travel quite frequently and need my weekly dose of Trulicity in a cool transport case. This has a hardshell nylon case with two freezer packs on each side. The case has zippered internal compartments. It is compact and lightweight. It works efficiently and effectively in keeping my syringe cool. This is a perfect companion for diabetics. I highly recommend it.

I recommend this product
This is just what I was looking for. It holds a Mounjaro pen, probably not 2 with both ice packs in it, but as said on earlier reviews it can be stored without refrigeration for up to 21 days. My main purpose for buying this was to keep the injection insulated to prevent breakage. Keeping it cold is a bonus. Plenty of room for insulin and needles if that’s what you would use it for. It’s a little heavy and bulky, so best for a large bag, backpack or carryon. I wouldn’t carry it in a small to medium purse, it takes up too much room due to the insulation provided.

Great case, but not a lot of space
I really like this case as it makes carrying my insulin on short outings very easy and I don’t have to worry about my insulin pen getting warm for long. I would say that it works well for a couple hours, but not much longer than that depending on the temperature outside. I have used a larger cooler bag with frozen water bottles and a dish towel for more insulation for longer trips lasting all or most of the day and that works well. The case and zipper seem to be made very well for durability but after you put your insulin pen or pens in the case there isn’t much room for anything else. You can cram a few needle caps in where the frozen bags are but forget about trying to use the little pouches they have if you want to take more than a couple needles and alcohol swabs for the journey. Those things don’t need to be kept cool so it’s not that big of a deal. It would just be nice to keep everything you need in one space. Overall as long as you have the understanding and expectation that it isn’t made for long trips and really only has a minimal amount of additional space for needles etc., then it is a great buy to make date nights and short outings stress free when bringing your insulin with you.

Stays cold through moderate summer heat.
I got bought this to be able to take my insulin to an upcoming wedding this month. I was able to do a test run on it for a Labor Day cookout. We were there for approximately 5 hours and when I got back home, I opened it back up and the ice packs were still frozen solid. I was kind of shocked after reading a lot of the reviews that said that the ice packs thawed too quickly. Huh? They were frozen like I had just taken them out of the freezer. So, in my experience, I kept the cooler in my purse pretty much the entire time except when I needed it. I was sitting in a shaded area and not in direct sunlight (my purse was black too), but it was about 85°, no humidity and I kept the ice packs in the plastic bags they came in.My only concern was that there was condensation on the outside of case, not much, just a little, so it is not insulated. That was the other thing that kind of shocked me since it stayed frozen the entire time. Also, I rode my scooter in direct sunlight, black purse exposed, pacing next to my husband which was about a 30 minute walk/ride.I recommend it, but I would suggest that you keep it in some kind of bag or purse if you are taking it somewhere in the summer months for extended periods of time. I am confident that I won't have any issues with it for at least 8 hours up to 12 if needed during the summer. It gives me piece of mind that my insulin will not go bad as long as I am not careless and expose it to direct sunlight. After all, it isn't insulated like a beer cooler, it has a reflective interior and the outer shell is hard and durable. I got the purple case and the color is a little darker than the picture which I hoped it would be.I am very happy with it and I wouldn't recommend putting your glucometer in the case due to the condensation build up. I carried that separately.

Great for travel
I travel all the time, and this cooler travel case works great for keeping my medications organized and cool. It works great for traveling with insulin and other medications that need to stay at a safe temperature. The insulation is effective, and it's compact enough to fit easily in my bag. Highly recommend.

The ice packs don't last that long
It's cool but I think any thermost will last longer than these ice paks. They start melting right away and only have lasted on avg 2 hours

Great to traveling with meds and needle.
Great to take your meds and needles on your trip. Small enough to fit in your carry one. Ice packs keep my meds cold.
