This dress was so soft an comfortable, i felt so comfortable in it an didnt want to take it off!

Costumes can be expensive and I wanted a Victorian style black dress for a photoshoot. I read a lot of reviews before ordering this and I am glad I chose this one. The hooped underskirt is included, a real plus. Looked great on the day and, importantly to me, the dress was relatively lightweight. Will definitely use again for fancy dress. Fit was a little neat for a proportionally larger bust but the rest fitted fine .

For the money I did expect something a little finer. The hems are unfinished and the material is a basic cotton. Underneath the ruffles is of a different shiny polyester style material. The buttons keep coming off and are of cheap plastic. The collar is oversized and looks unflattering. I tuck it inside so that it gives a round neckline, which is much more flattering. The sleeves are very wide, so I wear it with wrist warmers over the sleeve. I wear this at home and it has become my housework dress, without the hooped underskirt, as it feels very 'boiler suity' as the material is very functional looking. I would have preferred something other than ribbon in the corset area. Probably fine for a fancy dress party, but I wanted an everyday dress and I'm not sure its up to the task.

I love this dress so much! I bought it to wear as a Victorian ghost and again to a Victorian themed Thanksgiving event. I was pleasantly surprised to find that it’s better made than expected and feels like a real dress.The laces on the side allow for a custom fit and the details are really nice, from the buttons to the ruffles. The hoop skirt gives it extra authenticity and flair. The material is perfect for what it is. It’s not a super high quality but doesn’t feel like a cheap costume.As far as fit, I think it’s true to size. I’m 5’8”, 145lbs and typically wear a medium. The medium fits perfectly and the ties make it easier to get the best look for my shape.I’m so excited to wear this! I’ll update this if anything changes but I highly recommend you give it a shot.

This dress fits so well and is very adjustable! It adjusts on the sides so it can fit bigger or smaller. I didn’t really like the white petticoat so I used my own. The belt is not included in the dress as I bought it separately.

Delivery was late...but dress is beautiful! Well made, and fits perfectly! Nicer than expected

The dress came early and is good quality. I was worried about the size - I've ordered things 5x bigger than my actual size and they've been too small in the past - but this was on the big side. Perfect after clinching in the ribbons in the sides. My only negative comment is that the sleeve cuffs didn't have any buttons like in the picture.
