One of the best deals out there
You get a full toolkit for less than the price of just the bag or multi-tool. Both of those items are quite good quality, on their own. I wonder how long the zipper will hold up, but that's always a question I have for any zippered item these days. The loop for a taillight and reflective accents are appreciated, though it would be better if they used some simple graphic than what looks like a generic, translated name.Flats are a fact of life with bicycles, and you should always have the resources to fix a flat, anytime you ride farther away from home than you would like to walk back. A bag manufacturer cannot provide the tube you should carry, as this must be matched to your bike's tires, but you should buy a spare and stick it in this bag. It would be nice if they would have included a small, glueless patch kit, but you should buy one and stick it in there, too, for that 'second flat' you might get after installing that spare tube. What the manufacturer cannot do for you is to teach you how to replace that tube so you can get back on the road. You're not going to do it correctly without instruction, so find a local bike class, or ask someone knowledgeable to show and explain to you how it's done. Here's a tidbit of bike wisdom, if you replace the tube, and it then 'leaks', 'pops', 'blows', 'explodes' or whatever, it was not the fault of the tube. Sorry. It was YOUR fault, as you made an error installing it. The number of times a failure is due to a defective tube are infinitesimally small, dwarfed by the myriad number of ways that people can screw up the job when they haven't been shown how it needs to be done. If you're the impatient type who carries a CO2 inflator, be sure to also have at least a mini-pump with you. Your mentor will explain why.One last tidbit--put in a pair of disposable, nitrile-type gloves. Not the really thin medical ones that tear easily, but the ones that still take up very little space but are much tougher. You will really appreciate not having the dirt ground into your skin.

Tool can fall apart, but good bag
The bag is fine. The tool is pretty good - paperwork that says don’t lose the separate Allen wrench to tighten the screws that keep it together is spot on. The tool was tight when it arrived, but then fell apart on me this morning, in the dark. The screw was actually inside the bag so it came unscrewed IN the bag, not through use???The little hook for breaking and reconnecting the chain is a Great Idea. Haven’t needed to use it but wish I had it in the past.Overall nice, not big enough for the spare tire but I keep that in my pocket.Just keep an eye on that tool. Tighten the screws every so often - just in case, or at least every time you pull it out to use it.

Update: Zipper Pull Broke
EDIT 2:Review updated to 5 stars. I reached out to the company about the broken zipper and they immediately shipped me a new bag! They also had me take pictures of the failure point so they could improve their manufacturing process. I will DEFINITELY buy from this company again, they're amazing and their customer service is above and beyond.EDIT:So I was out on the trail and needed to open the bag, and the zipper pull broke off of the zipper slider. No I'm not super clumsy, it just broke. It's made of very soft cheap metal. For a bag that is otherwise constructed very well, this is a major disapointment.====Genuinely impressed at the build quality of the bag. I was expecting a lot less; it's kinda a crap shoot with Amazon some times. Even the tool is fairly well made, more than adequate for emergency use.One thing that surprised me was it's a bit smaller than expected. It's hard to get a sense of scale so take a look at the customer photos before ordering if you have big stuff to put in it.

This one DID NOT get stolen
I pride myself on giving honest reviews. I LOVED the Crank Brother product I also bought I put this one in my backpack, where it remains, so it seems to work well. However, because it was less smooth than the crank brothers one, by pure happenstance it did not get stolen. On 6/20/20. I parked my expensive bike at Home Depot in Van Nuys. I used my very expensive "FoldyLock" I knew it was a sketchy place and so I tried to get in and out but by the time I got back, someone had stolen my under-seat-bag with this item, my spare inner tube and my prized Cirrus aircraft logo swiss army knife and even my had pump, which I had even wrapped veclro around to keep it in place. So, I suppose that thanks to some worthless thief, a $20.00 trip to a store I did not want visit, turned into one that cost me a keepsake I cannot replace and other items that will cost about $120.00. So, so long Crankbrothers multi-tool. wish I'd known you better. However, I guess this kit will get more use for awhile.

The best value for these two items.
I wanted a bag that mounted under the saddle, and my previous bike tool had just broken, so when I found this deal for both a multitool and a bag for less than any of the other bags alone, it was a no brainer. I was a bit concerned because some of the reviews mentioned that the tool can fall apart as there are screws holding it together, and you need a separate allen wrench just to adjust that, but if you get it to the perfect tightness, it stays together just fine. Tool is solid and has everything I've needed so far on four different bikes of varying ages. The bag appears to be well made, and holds a fair amount. I was able to stuff a very light rain jacket into it. Overall, I would recommend this combo for anyone who doesn't already have these items.
