Disc charger
Don't waste your time with any other uv flashlight if you are going to try night discing. This actually works. I ordered this and another cheaper flashlight at the same time to compare and there is no comparison. The cheaper one barely illuminated the disc i was testing and this product worked like a charm. Will probably end up buying another. I haven't tested it out on the course yet but did test it from pretty far away with the lights off at night in the house. I set a disc (that wasn't glowing yet) in a dark room and just shined the flashlight in that direction and felt confident I could find it outside as long as i was in the right direction at night. I feel like it could help glow a disc from a good distance.

Perfect for Scorpion Hunting
Do you live in the Desert Southwest? Do you like to find scorpions in your house or yard before they find you? Then this UV light is for you! It's always creepy to find a scorpion in my house, but I'd rather find him before he finds me. This light works great. Scorpions glow in the dark like the freaky little nightmares they are. Get a UV light now if you live in a region with scorpions!

Powerful UV light
Not using this for it's intended purpose, charging glow in the dark disks, but it's a powerful UV light with a large head for even light distribution. Solidly built and even includes batteries. Make sure to unscrew the bottom to remove the protective insert from the battery compartment. This would be useful for inspection or forensic purposes. In my case, it's useful for seeing just how filthy my rug is!

Big light output!
So I have to admit that I didn't order this light to charge UV Frisbee golf disks. I ordered it to help track down an oil leak using some UV dye in my crankcase. My old UV light was a small pen light I picked up at an automotive store. I found that you needed a very dark space and close proximity for it to find UV dye. This light is huge for a UV flashlight. (Picture with a CD for size reference) It has 100 LEDs and the thing will light up UV reactive material from more that 10 feet away in a normally lit room. I was able to track down my oil leak in about 2 minutes with this thing. Then I went looking for pet stains around the house... I soon found out that my cat and dog haven't been as good as I thought!I like that it uses AA batteries and not size C. There is actually an adaptor in the battery chamber that turns two C, or maybe D, sized spaces into holders for 3 AA batteries each. This is great since nobody has C or D batteries anymore. I have no idea how long these batteries will last if you're using this to charge UV reactive material, but I would suggest rechargeable batteries since we only have one planet.I'm really happy with this flashlight. It has the most output I've seen from any of this type.
