I am so happy to have found this walnut butter!
I love this stuff! It tastes wonderful, and the wonderful taste lasts to the bottom of the container. I can think of a number of recipes that would be much-improved using this walnut butter, but just dipping Wheat Thins into it for snacks is heavenly. I have already sent for a second carton of it, so that it will arrive by the time the first one is gone.

Wanted to try Walnut butter
Product came just like pictured, a bit drier than I liked but that could be fixed by mixing a bit of oil that has no flavor (don't use olive oil because they usually have fruity taste to it which kills what delicate flavor this has).I personally like it to be a bit sweeter, probably because I expected something similar to peanut butter sweetness so I would put a bit of honey in the mix.This would most likely my last time trying walnut butter because to me the flavor does not justify the price.

So, it tastes like walnuts...
Which is what you expect from walnut butter. It doesn't have any additional ingredients, which is awesome but it's very dry and crumble and wouldn't work at all in a sandwich or on a bagel.I stir it into our morning oatmeal ( McCann's Irish Oats) for all the health benefits of walnuts. It makes the oatmeal creamier, and the bitterness is helped by the fact that we always have our oatmeal with fresh berries.

Very Delicious Nut Butters
I got the Hazelnut and the Walnut butters.They are VERY delicious!! The walnut butter is very dense - not really spreadable, but that really doesnt matter to me. I got these nut butters becuz i am vegetarian, and eating nuts themselves gives me awful pains. The butters are perfect for me to eat, even if it is just by the small spoonfull!You can tell these are high quality butters. I didnt give 5 stars becuz there are no directions about how to keep, or how long they last. I have emailed the company to see if they need to go in the fridge. I dont like my natural peanut butter that way - but i know sometimes you just have to, to make it last.I will order from this company again.

Walnuts or ground beef?
Fastachi walnut butter is great on toast. I also use it in spaghetti sauce instead of meat. Stuffed cabbage using walnut butter, sauteed mushrooms, rice {brown or white) chopped onion and grated cheese (gruyere and fontina are my favorites)instead of hamburger is delicious . In fact walnuts and mushrooms can be used instead of ground beef in almost anything.

Just pure walnuts...
This butter has a pure walnut taste as it is all walnuts & nothing else. The texture is quite dry & crumbly. At least the tub I had was. I also encountered another issue of which customer service handled. That said, I definitely recommend because of customer service despite this being an item/product review. I've had other brands of similar flavored & type product. I've also made a little of my own at home & it turned out smoother & more spreadable. Maybe I grinded it a bit longer releasing oils more. I don't kniw. I'm no pro. This is definitely recommended for those who just want a walnut grounded up type product with light fresh taste & ready to use for recipes like sauces, frostings, cakes etc. Just a few ideas I think. Any way, I'm only giving it three stars & yet recommending it is because of my personal experience I had as well as the texture. I'm sure most others have better experiences & I'm just not going to bash the company for what could have been just a fluke situation for me. Bottom line, try for yourself & let me read your results & feelings. Well, let me get back to my grind.😉

LOVE this product
I just ordered the Walnut butter because I love walnuts but never have really found a walnut butter anywhere. I really wish this place was in Chicago--i'd be there all the time! I love this walnut butter-totally fresh and natural.It was shipped in record time and well packaged. A+ for product and seller. If I am ever in Boston, I'm going to Fastachi.
