AWESOME
This is a nice deep vampy red that works really well as a lip liner alongside the color "Iconic Ruby" which I use to fill in the rest of my lips.No feathering, and it stays put for quite awhile as long as you don't eat a bunch of greasy food. (But even if you DO eat a bunch of greasy fair food a bit of color will stay on)It will stick to any dry spots on your lips as these marker style lip stains tend to do, so make sure to exfoliate well and let you lip moisturizer SINK IN before using. If you moisturize your lips too much before using, the stain will not last as long.I usually use lip plumper to fill in any lines and wipe it off before applying, then I use lip balm on top of these AFTER applying and it seems to hold up just fine.

Lasted through a 9 hour tattoo session
This lip stain lasted longer than some of my past relationships. I put it on, drove 2 hrs to my tattoo artist, snacked my way through 9 hrs of tattooing, drank from straws and cans both, and this lip stain looked the same at 10pm as it did at 7am.PROS: I love the color. It looks like a deeper version of my natural lip color. It goes on like a marker, and doesn't dry out my lips at all. It does wear away easier if you put any product (lip balm, gloss) over it. It's easy to touch up. It also works well under a liquid lip stain, to deepen the color or to prevent uneven wear of either product. Lightweight, no noticeable smell, easy to carry in a purse, pocket, or wallet. Absolutely will buy again.CONS: if you put lip balm over top, or eat something greasy, it wears off and it does so unevenly.

Does not transfer!
I absolutely love the COVERGIRL Outlast Lipstain in shade 10 Sugey Girl! It's become my go-to lip color for everyday wear. The best part? It's completely transfer-proof. No more worrying about lipstick ending up on my coffee cup or mask - this stain truly stays put all day long. The formula applies smoothly and evenly with just one swipe of the pen-like applicator, making it perfect for quick touch-ups. The "Sugey Girl" shade is a beautiful, wearable pink that complements any outfit, adding a nice pop of color without being too bold. Plus, the stain feels surprisingly lightweight and comfortable on my lips, lasting for hours without drying them out. Overall, I'm super impressed with the COVERGIRL Outlast Lipstain. It's long-lasting, easy to apply, and comes in a beautiful shade. If you're looking for a transfer-proof lip color that won't budge, this is definitely a great option!

Not the most long-lasting lip stain…
Super cute lip stains! The colors came out great and as advertised. I’m not really a fan of the “pencil” design- makes it super compact but also takes more time to apply to the lip, but this also means you can have more precision when outlining and shaping. The biggest downside to this lip stain if the fact that it doesn’t really stay as long. I bought two colors for this, the darker one stays longer (of course) but the lighter one fades quickly. I think they both last me a couple of hours, but definitely not an all day thing.Overall, I would buy again because it’s super cheap, but the cost relates to it’s longevity so beware

Favorite!
I like lip stains, so I can put on color and not worry about it because my lips are so pale. It lifts my spirits. This lip stain really works. I didn't find it drying at all, but I do like stains, so I don't expect them to moisturize. Put this on, let it dry (it's not drying at all), then put a gloss over it and that's it, just use gloss or ChapStick or whatever your fav is the rest of the day. It stays all day, doesn't come off on your teeth, cups, anything. I'd recommend following the directions, which are simple - don't put it on after a chapstick or anything. Put it on dry lips first thing. The colors are intense, as usual with stains, so I dot them around then smooth on the brighter shades. I like the suga-one, it's a neutral that you can add other colors to, if you want to.

Love it!!
Listen, I'm a lip stain girly. I wish I could do lipstick and I have a bunch of it, but I don't like the feel, the re-application, and I cannot find *my shade*. I used the old CG lip stains but the colors I like always get sold out or I can't find them. I am so pleased with this one, the color I got is in the photo. Easy to apply, beautiful color, and if you don't want it super dark you can easily take off excess color with a Qtip. Definitely recommend for a natural look and feel as well as a bold one depending on how heavy you wear it. (See the photo with 2 layers vs 1 layer lighly dabbed up). Definitely versatile. Bonus: it doubles as liner, so you can overline your lips with it too.Now I have to get more colors!

Wanted to love this, but SO drying.
I used to love this lip tint in 2013 when it was branded as a Twilight Just Bitten collection LOL… I was pumped to see them re-release. The old packaging was a chubby marker with a semi transparent cap; the new packaging is a sleek slim marker that is completely opaque matte on the outside. Kind of liked the old packaging better but the new one saves space in makeup kits, so there’s that.I was a teen when I first loved this stuff so maybe I wasn’t as aware of my likes and dislikes with makeup, but I don’t remember it being SO incredibly drying and in particular, patchy. I got a nude beige color and it clung to every single crack and dry patch on my lips, really emphasizing them in an unflattering way. And, I’m someone who is always hydrating my lips and exfoliating with a silicone pad, so I was shocked to see how dried out my lips looked after applying. The patchiness also forced me to reapply for the sake of uniformity which made it hard to get a natural tint finish; instead the nice beige color almost turns into a wine stain shade because of the need to go over the application a bunch to smooth things out. This can be kind of be saved with balm or gloss, but I just feel like it still looks patchy and almost like my lips are irritated, not stained. I really wanted to love this but don’t foresee myself reaching for this very often. Hoping some more hydrating lip tints with less alcohol in them come out soon.

Easiest lip stain to use
I gave in to The tick Tock trends and looked up this product on Amazon and purchased a lip stain for myself. I would buy more and probably will buy more in the future. I love the fact that it kind of just looks like a felt marker and it's just easy to apply. I apply it like lip liner first and then I fill it in and then you can let it dry and either use chapstick or lip oil or leave it as is.

Doesn't last more than 30 minutes
Beautiful color but it drys my lips out and is completely gone in less than 30 minutes. Save your money!

Love it!
It is a bit dry but it is a lip stain. I put it on then wait for it to set them use a clear lip gloss. It has great staying power even twitch gloss on top.

Feels like using an actual marker on your lips...
This really isn't for me. I find the pen dry and the colours are so vivid they're almost aggressive. If you're looking for a subtle lip stain this isn't the one. The colour stains I'll give it that, but I just hate how it feels, how it applies, and how it looks.

Iconic Ruby
I love lip stains but this one was not good! It stains my lips unevenly even after exfoliating and moisturizing. It also wears off unevenly if I eat or enough time elapses, leaving the top of my lips bare and the inner parts brightly coloured which is atrocious looking LOL. I do have this issue with some (but not all) lip stains, so maybe you wouldn't have this issue. It helps to let the stain set for maybe 15 min after applying before eating/drinking. It does stay on for several hours if left alone e.g. when sleeping. The formula is very pigmented, which would be good, but the formula is not buildable or blottable or forgiving. So it's only a very flashy bright red which is not very flattering on me personally but maybe it would work on your skin tone. Iconic Ruby is a very bright fire truck red, almost neon. It's more vivid in person than in my photo.
